Aw, cool--congratulations on your new dog! I'm glad you got the chance to adopt her--and that you had the opportunity to give a black dog a chance at having a loving home! I've often read where black cats and dogs don't get adopted from shelters near as often as their more colorful counterparts, and that's a shame! If you know of anyone who's looking to adopt an animal from a shelter, tell them this--not only will they come out of there with a loving pet, chances are they will also be saving a life! By the way, how is your cat doing?
