So I guess I don't like cocaine...

I finally tried coke last night. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't have enough (I was a bit nervous about trying it) or maybe it was my state of mind...but I didn't really enjoy cocaine.
My friends who had offered it and know quite a bit about coke said it was some pretty good stuff, so it wasn't a lack of quality.
I didn't enjoy the numb throat thing...I found it to be very distracting and kind of uncomfortable. I was also a little shaky. The overall feeling was OK, I just think it's overrated from what my friends and everyone says about it.

I guess it's just not for everyone? I've only met one other person who says they didn't like coke.
Am I alone in this? LoL.

 

It's not for everyone. For example, say I've theoretically tried everything under the sun, it may be at the end of the list of things to do, way after bad stuff like smack and listening to Metallica. The damning paradox of the the drug is, the less coke you do, the more fun you have, but it makes you want to do lots & lots. No preaching from me though, some people love the stuff and are even pleasant to be around when they do it.

 

Its a real hit and miss in my opinion. In the first place it lasts like 30 minutes, is an upper, which I'm not a huge fan of although I do like Cocaine, and the comedown can be the worst thing imaginable. But its not as intense [comedown] if you don't do a lot, but its hard since it lasts so short. Whatever, I guess its a good thing you don't like it because then you shouldn't do it again?

 

I've done coke a few times..and I really don't like it anymore at all.

i used to do coke a little bit with my friends who are big coke heads. its definitely not something id buy, cause it last way too short and does make you fiend out hard for it right after you come down. which i think is weird cause its not really that enjoyable while your on it anyways. but yeah im not a fan of coke either and used to do it just because my friends had it and it was there you know. free drugs? ok, i'll do em, was usually my mindset.

 

The comedown from an upper, in my experience is a lot more bearable if you time it right, like be upped for the whole party, and if right as everyone is leaving the comedown starts, it's not as bad, because it is like synced with the whole vibe of the party, know what I mean? Of course this can be a problem if you don't have enough drugs to use the whole night and/or the party never ends, but hey, just my two cents.

Well I don't know about that, since I don't tend to do harder drugs in a party environment, more of a boys/close friends thing, since shit is less likely to get fucked and no one is completely retarded, but that could work MM.

Although the only real cure for the Coke comedown is any nice hard opiate, but don't speedball children.

 

coke is chasing a high in my opinion. I never feel like I do "enough" and I never have enough money to get more. Then the morning after I do coke I always wish I had my money back. lol

first time i tried coke i thought it was bunk, i was expecting something totally different u knw cuz of the movies n shit, i was with a friend n we only did 0.25 gram together, we didnt even finish it, we were so paranoid of OD n all that shit, next day I decided to get 0.5 g n done it alone, it was the best time in my life followed by the worst, most of my friends dnt get cocaine the first time they try it, my friend tried for the first time a year ago n he was like i dnt feel shit, i dnt get it, yada yada, now hes a coke head, so yeah try it again lol, just kiddin, its a good thign u didnt like it, but if u tried again alone u might change ur mind. i stopped cocaine completely cuz of the comedown, i hated it, really hated it, n couldnt even stand to be with people who do it, cuz when they come down i start to feel like shit, then i discovered speedballin, thats a whole different story...

 

I dont have bad comedowns, and i have good buzz on coke. although you wont know what to expect from it when you do it for the first time, it might take several times to do it to know what it is.

do u mean speed in general or particularly meth? cocaine was made to be mixed with heroin to form a speedball in my opinion, if god had a better combo he wudda kept it for himself...

Coke + Ecstasy is amazing. Even during the comedown from the coke you're still feeling the effects from the MDMA, it's quite blissful.

im prescribed trazodone for my insomnia. i just pop one of those on the comedown and i dont crave.

 

Advising people to try heroin isn't cool.

 

the tachycardia is a major turnoff to me. i appreciate its short duration in contrast to most other psychoactives. but yeah for the effect and price its not even close to worth it. the shit doctors get is completely pure and even with all the regulations is still only something like $4 a g. to pay 20+ times that for something cut with god knows what, again no thanks.
