I awake to a cloudy day, as most days are like that here in the Pacific Northwest, and naturally my spirit is on a high, as well as I..:sifone:
After I awake, and puff my organic homegrown herb, and have a cup of green tea, I walk down the street on my daily morning walk.. Knowing that I have no worries of children, wife, and any fool ass "job" that people seem to trap themselves in. I count the endless stream of cars that pass by me, and I have deep feelings of joy, as I know im not contributing to polluting the earth with lazyness and greed, and the blood of innocent people..

I get looks from some of the people driving by, as if Im the one who is out of place by walking. As if im not right for some reason, walking down the street, in a pure Irie bliss. With dreads hanging out of my beanie, and smoking a fat spliff, I continue on.

I am on my way to pick some fresh berries (4 pounds). Salal berries, salmon berries, huckleberries.. red and purple, and lastley native trailing blackberries, all from and around a local Old Growth forest.. These people go into the supermarkets and pay out of there ass, and cant even get 4 of the ones I listed...LoL
I get a few honks as I walk to my spot, and its the people who are down with the cause. I throw up a peace sign when they honk, and the recognition feels nice indeed.. Just wanted to share a morning journey of a 12 tribes dread..peace from Oregon..

Oregon is where it's at, well as far as the States go. Other than New Orleans, Portland is the only big city I could actually see myself possibly living in for a long time.

I'm just in Eugene bro, like we talked about and I still really need to visit Portland before I completely leave the States (probably will be leaving the west coast in 3 months or so). I have some friends that live there, but they live outside of the metro area so if I do make it I'll hit you up. I'm only really familiar with the Hawthorne area though, are you anywhere near that side? Know of any places one could set a tent and camp for free in or around the city?

Oh and Soaringeagle, you use to live here? Where at I must ask?
