Anyone ever heard of it? And if so, is it of any recreational value? I read up on it and it said it is an NSAID, but there was nothing about rec. use and nothing on erowidd. Any help is appreciated!

The brand name for this is Toradol, and they have no recreational value whatsoever. This is usually what they give at the ER to suspected addicts for pain relief instead of narcotics. Pretty much just a stronger Motrin.

It's non-narcotic, non-steroroidal anti-infglamatory, and non habit forming. It won't really do anything except block out some pain.

I like to keep those strong nsaids around the medicine cabinet just in case. One day you might throw your back out, start passing a kidney stone, injure a major internal organ or whatever. Then you're going to have to go to the ER and sit there in complete AGONY while they try to get an open bed for you... usually, if you hosiptal is like mine, this could take many hours (last time it took me 3 hours to get admitted, and my condition was relatively serious. I was in EXTREME pain)

I know those nsaids don't work all that great for pain, but they do work. You'll be much more comfortable if you keep them around for aches and pains. Just becare with them. They are prescribtion strength for a reason because they can come with a host of nasty side effects. Don't start taking them daily to cure a back ache or whatever, if something like that happens, go to the doctor and let him prescribe the proper meds for to take.

Oh, and a strong nsaid will give me a kind of sleepy feeling the first time I take one. It's extremely subtle and kinda nice, but it only last the first time. The second time I take it, the feeling is gone.

Well to tell you the truth I didn't expect you to say antyhing being that you haven't posted for like... 2 months or something... at least in any of the forums I'm in. Oh and also, I kinda figured that a painkiller would, ya know, kill pain? Maybe I'm fishing for the obvious... w/e.
