and it always makes for an interesting evening. some crazy bitch started freaking out screaming at the doctors and nurses because "no one would tell her the mother fucking truth" found out later she wasn't even a patient, but somehow related to a patient who was suscpicially sick.
ERs are crazy crazy places, full of crazy crazy people. including but not limited to the staff. i should know... i've worked there.
What were you doing there? I pick my girlfriend up from working at the hospital most nights, the people you see there will make you fell attractive, smart, and well bred Which is funny because i don't even have health insurance
I'd rather die in my house than to go to the ER.. Had to go a few times and thought I was going to die in the waiting area.. I was bleeding so bad once a nurse came out into the waiting room and handed me a few pads, but left me there.. Ug, rather die in my house with at least some dignity...
I had to take my wife in for them to shoot her up with some shit to take away her migraine. Turned out pretty cool cuz all the nursing students got on the internet and started watching videos from the body farm at the university of tennessee. Of course, me being turned on my rotting corpses was in heaven
we didn't even go to the waiting room today. In the front door, straight to a room. Actually this isn't even that unusual. In the 20 or 30 times we've been there, i'd say we only ever had to sit in the waiting room maybe 5 times, and never for more than 15 minutes.
Lucky asshole. I had to wait over two hours for a muscle relaxer and a non narcotic pain pill. :toetap05:
last time I had to go in when I kicked my dog and thought I broke my foot. I waited for 5 minutes in the waiting room. Went to my other room, got taken for an x-ray by two of the hottest interns i've ever seen, told I was fine, they gave me 40 percocets and sent me on my way. I love the place. I TRY to get hurt.
Other then the cost I really dont know why people bitch about health care, my recent trip to the ER and subsuquent stay in the CICU was top notch, its cost me close to 40k but I lived and everyone I delt with was very much on the ball, probably why I lived.
What happened to you? Ive never been to an ER, but I want to be a nurse. But not necessarily a nurse in ER...I want to work with babies
I've always had good times at the E.R. but I have only ever gone when there was no one else there or they triaged my ass in immediately.
oh you'll meet plenty of babies in ER: "waaaaah i broke my arm waaah waahhh" "this stick poked my eye out...waaaah wahhhhhhhh" "my bone is sticking out through my skin waaaaah someone help me" "a baseball hit my son in the head...is he gonna be alright doc?" fucking babies i tell ya
