each herb has its own use teatree is a anticeptic antifungal that also helps dandruff and repels lice
peperments cooling and also clears sinuses as well as helps with congestionand sinus headaches eucolyptus same but i think repels mosquitroes too lavander im not sure about teatree would cut greasiness the most i think
since its used bokth as an anticeptic and to dry out sores
citrus well didnt look into it but many are aciditic and should cut grease and some like oranfge oil would even disolve wax

the pepermints used more for the smell and the tingle it gives then anything
but i think the teatree is most benificial
ah almond forgot that it smells heavenly i know almonfd oils ued as a massage oil alot perhaps its relaxing or helps with sire muscles? dunno

I eventually found Dr Bronners on ebay.. Weird coz I searched not too long ago and it wasnt there. I've got some citrus liquid soap.. Will I need to dilute or can I use it like a regular shampoo? Really excited!

thanks for the answer soaring I already got some tea tree oil so its not a problem I use it when I need now my problem is my dreads are weird since 2 wash they are not as clean and not so dry either its like if theres something a little sticky on them or I dont know my father told me it might be the baking soda (I've been using it quite a lot recently) and since then my dreads are like a bit greasy or I dont know .. I'll try not using it and just wash with my usual soap until I got the bronner see if it works.

    12-1 i thinks best
uy can dilute it past the point of lathering and it still cleans your hair good

if u use straught teatree oil semi often thats causing the greasiness esential oil;s are very very string 1-2 drops is all u need mix it with somethimg to spread it
    \
but if u put10 drops in the deep cleanse in a gallon or so thats a good concentration
but 10 drops a day or somethimng in your hair or on scalp wioll build up

OK so I just received my bronner, its amazing, peppermint smells so good and my dreads are starting to shrink now eh... they are quite small but they lock up so its alright and citrius smells like orange a lot with a bit of other sents its even better then peppermint but I'll mix them both together

how I washed: 3 4 drop of soap in my palm and rub with some water no dilution but I'll dilute it 1/4 citrus 1/4 peppermint and 1/2 water in a bottle for next time.

thats still just a 2-1 dilution
u wanna dilute way more then that
if your mixing the 2 u wabnt 1/24th of pepermint 1/24th of the citrus and 11/12ths water

idf u can find like a clean 16 oz bottle put about 2/3 of an ozxz of each in then fill the rerst with water...from there if itstoo weak just add a lil squiert or so
uwant around 10 to 12 times more water then soap...not 1/2

1/2 wont hurt ya none but might leave a lil residue ..or might not but either way its very wasteful since u really only nereed a small percentage of what your using

I stayed with 1/2 dilution and it works good, no residue (I think) I probably would have noticed but already with just a 1/2 dilution it lather a lot less and I like that when I wash so now I need to take a lot more soap to wash then just from the bottle, I'll see what it gives but 1/8 or 1/12 wouldnt be enough for me I guess exept if I just put my head into a big bowl of water with bronner but I wont do that to wash

my dreads changed a lot already since 2 days of use of dr bronner, a lot more tight and knoty and crazy thats great but maybe theres a little residue not sure...
