fucking comcast wants to cap my net

i dont like comcast at all. all there commericals are false advertisment and its sooo olbivous. plus yeah they are very expensive.

 

yeah the vpn is worth it to me.. because my connection's gunna be 16MB/s & it'll make the difference downloading on bittorent from 15kb/s to like 250kb/s.. so yeah very worth it

 

yikes, way back when had dial up I had 56k and I thought that was extremely slow...

 

well, it used to be adelphia here. honestly, they sucked balls. then comcast took them over because the president embezzled a whole arse wad of money and adelphia went defunt. so much so that a past bill of over 1,000 dollars was wiped out. everything started at zero. lucky me. but comcast is 20 times worse than ball sucking adelphia.

 

I remember back when 28.8 was fast.

There are 2 major satellite internet providers. You can get high speed Internet anywhere with them.

 

I haven't checked lately, but before they were outrageous with their prices

 

yeah.. && from my experience dish internet is veeeerrry slow

 

I'm not sure about that, I'm pretty sure they do have some really good speeds, but its comparable to cable at around twice the price

 

now i'm stealing someone else's wireless connection lol.. but we're getting comcast bc this connection isn't fast enough & my roommate cannot connect to it bc he has a cheap wireless card

 

well i used to live out in the boondocks & i had it there.. & it was slow

 

+ they cap your dl at a ridiculously low amount.. like 10 gigs lol. && you have to pay if you want more.. & if you dl more than that you are punished by them cutting your bandwidth in half lol

 

10 gigs? LMFAO I do that in my first cup of coffee in the morning

 

how fast can you dl on bittorent w/ comcast?? i heard they throttle you to like 15kb/s

 

I can commonly get speeds of 1MB/s but on average I can d/l 650-700 KB/s

 

and those are bytes, not bits

 

what is your connection speed?? how many mb/s ??

 

they claim its an 8 Mb/s

they never told me what my up speed was supposed to be but I can upload around 100 KB/s

 

and they want to cut me off at 250 gigs a month? come on.

 

oh shitt.. i'm getting 16MB/s.. i hope it kicks ass
