i think i just drank one mug full and then maybe one more a few hours later -- put like, i mean, a cup of sugar in that stuff man hehe :) seriously, kill it with sugar, and then it's really not half bad!

Well I was going to put some cinnamon and sugar in it but I didn't know if flavoring it would ruin the purpose.

At the herbalist here in town, there's also something called Tansy that's supposed to bring on menstruation.
This is from the website sisterzeus:

Michael Tierra writes: "I once clinically saw a woman who claimed to rely solely on tansy tea to induce pregnancy each month and used no other birth control. She said that around the time her period was do, she would drink one strong cup of tansy tea in the evening and her period would be there the next day. Sometimes it might require two cups but never more than that. I don't think even three or four cups of tansy tea is harmful and in fact it is a very useful acute herbal medicine herb for worms, fevers, colds, stopped menses, nausea and as a lotion for scabies. The woman using the tansy, used a handful of the dried aerial part of the herb or a handful and a half of the fresh aerial parts steeped in one or two cups of water. She'd said she would drink one cup in the evening and one in the morning to bring on menstruation each month. No more than that was needed."

extra strength jamaican ginger beer...about 4 of them in a day.
It's a really strong ginger ale (not a beer)...I used to use it when well....when I didn't want to wait around to see if the little blue line would show up or not.

A bit of warning with messing with your period though....it can take a long time for your cycle to get back to normal...I was always on the full moon pre-ginger and now I've cycled over to and been stuck at the new moon.

Tansy is very toxic to your liver, please do not use it! I also have issues with menstrual extraction, puncturing the uterine wall (and not even knowing it until you bleed badly or get infected) and Pelvic Inflamitory Disease are only two of the dangers. Inserting things into your cervix in a less than totally sterile enviroment (which you really can't obtain at home) is very dangerous.

Talk to your doc about using Provera (No, it is not Depo Provera, it is progeterone, but a concentrated dose taken over two days, which will bring on a late period in a week or less.)

Do you not want to have sex during your period due to pain, or just the "mess?" Bear and I have red towels in the captains chest under our bed, just for this purpose. If I am not in a lot of pain, sex during menstruation doesn't bother either of us at all.

Yeah, I've heard of people getting seriously hurt by menstrual extraction too. I read an article about it like a year ago. One girl almost died.

take bc pills back to back just skip your placebo pills it's safe if you only do it up to twice a year or get your guy to pay for your doc appoitment-I mean after all he reaps the benefits and you have to go through the appoitment it's only fair.

and for now, he should be glad i'm on my period - means i'm not carrying around his baby yet ;)
