So.. how much would you bet that if McSame and Palin win.. within a year you see a majority of our oil start coming from alaska?
it really screws McCain on the extreme conservative inbreds that are now gonna go "i aint votin for no woman to help run mah country.. mmhmm"
That's some rather flawed logic there. For starters, there are plenty of 'sides' to the question of the diversity of life, however, only one has any scientific grounds, hence the fact that that is the one taught in SCIENCE lessons. Secondly, while that logic seems 'only fair' to give all points equal standing, it's nonsense. Otherwise science would never have advanced if we'd still had people being taught 'intelligent astronomy' with an earth-central universe, 'intelligent geography' with flat earth theory and 'intelligent medicine' with demonic posession. On topic though, she'll probably pull in a few more votes for mccain, those mainly on the further right, women and the young, still looking close though to be honest.
Not to mention, once the flood gates are opened you'd have to account for the infinite amount of the different versions of 'intelligent design' that would suddenly be jumping up and down shouting, 'Me too!'
She's a dead ringer for Mariska Hargitay. Dead ringer. Also, the Hillary supporters that want Palin in office are banking on the fact that McCain could very well die before his term is up.
Talk about dangling carrots... All she is, is a ploy to attract those bitter female voters Hilary left behind. And while the glimmer in their eyes continue to blind them with the possibility of a woman being the first VP ever, McCain will just continue business as usual with Bush's policies.
In all honesty I don't see why any of who the vp is gonna be or who the new pres is gonna be even matters. No matter which of them gets office we're still gonna have the same overtly corrupt near facist society that we've had for the past 70 some odd years
thats a impossibility.. we import about 70 percent of our oil,,66.19% to be exact. it would take a decade to get the infrastructure up and running to produce half as much as we now import. besides that,as much oil as there is in anwr, its just a drop in our bucket, estimates are it would only supply us with 13 years of oil,and thats by todays demand,it would be less in a decade.. however as i stated, the point is moot because it would take at least 2 years after approving drilling to see a drop from anwr.. so how much were you wanting to bet again?
Hmm the governor of alaska as VP, Mccain loves oil, something tells me she will be a puppet to pull some strings to get the oil flowing out of Alaska in another Band-aid attempt to solve the oil crisis. HHB Even though it takes time to get the oil out, this is just the conservative duo to get that ball rolling.
I gotta admit, I would actually watch her speeches... I might not be listening, but I'd watch! I agree! Neither one seems to offer anything tangibly good for this country... just a bunch of hot air, empty promises, and "change" with no word on how. Once again, I'm gonna vote Libertarian... To quote one of my own songs: "Oral diarrhea spews from the far left And the right denies the problem to death We elect extremists to represent the masses But we're all in the middle and politicians are asses" (from "Save This" - on myspace.com/farflinger)
he has hit every point he can with this woman. she has 5 kids. one is fighting in the war in iraq. the youngest one has downsyndrome. although she doesnt have much XP lol
from wikipedia: Sarah Heath Palin (IPA: /ˈpeɪlɨn/; born February 11, 1964) is the hot governor of the U.S. state of Alaska.
Been listening to political commentary shows all day today, and a lot of them pretty much say the same thing... Just because McCain hired a woman doesn't mean that women voters will flock to him. Her first speech talked about that damn "18 million cracks in the glass ceiling" reference that Hilary made. But from the voters standpoint, it seems like Palin is trying to hard too soon. Not only that, but critics also see her as a puppet being used by McCain, with no real substance other than what McCain and his staff feed her and tell her what to say.
I promote the Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster's view on the start of all that we know. We need to examine all three sides if we are going to involve religion
