I have forced around 10 congos in the last few months. But I guess my dreads have had enough of that...lol
The current dreads I have been messing with, and trying to congo, want no part of that. They have such determination, I cant believe it....lol
I have been using the same method to congo them, as I did with the other 10. Although, these are simply refusing to fall in line and comply. I call them my anarchist congos.
I suppose that I should not expect these to do as the other 10 have? Hence giving up ultimate control, and just finally letting them do there own thing. Even though the other 10 were perfict complient congos?

yeah what kind of methods have you been using? on some of my smaller ones ive simply been tying them together or twisting them around eachother, but it seems mine dont want to stay either

yeh mine aren't very congo-frienfly either, in fact i've never ever had to rip/separate them, except like once or perhaps twice in 14 months. i want some to congo though, so im just gonna have to be patient i suppose. oh...1 small newly formed dreadling hooked on to an old and big one like unnoticed...i remember playing with the small one by itself and the next time i checked like 3 cm of it was totally locked to the bigger one next to it...but thats about it

Right on phen, mine are doing the same sort of thing in the back..

windcries, I have just basically palm rolled some together after a deep clean. And they seem to really fuze together after a while, like these ones on the back of my head..

hehe everyones different, mine congo like you wouldn't believe, if i didnt rip them in 4 or 5 days they'd all be combined. but i don't want them congo'ed so i rip the hell out of them (ask my sore scalp). i find i get them more after i have scrubbed visciously while washing them, or when i have slept with them straightdown (without ponytails)

since i stopped ropping back in june.. something like 75% of them have grabbed onto at least 1 more most have combined 3-5 though
    kinda liking it :)

have been keepin a lil bit of controll over it but barely any..
i definately dont want it goun too far but i like how its workin out so far..the parts near the roots that have grown together tightlky are already bout 2 invches or so (no way to ever get em apart now)
and theyre combinning rather sensibly with very very few needing any attention to keep em from grabbin ones too far away

Ugh, I have the opposite problem. My whole head would be one huge dread (or rather, a matted mess) if I didn't rip them apart once a day. Seriously, it's uncontrollable. I have a few congos going on at the roots, but don't want to congo all the way down (which sucks, because they are at the point where I really can't rip them apart without ripping my hair out).
