I've had this weed on a few different occassions from my dealer. He almost has some sort of rotation going on since he keeps pulling weed he's sold me before but never gets a long steady supply of any. Anyways there's this one I have now which looks pretty beaster-ish EXCEPT that it's this brown color (I guess it could pass as "Gold" if it would help identifying it). I asked him to give me a gram of any other strain he had for comparison (never knows the name of any of them) which is your more usual green dank color. Anyways it smells like beasters, smokes decent, not all too harsh, heavy stone, last few puffs of it taste like absolute ass, ashes eventually turn white without having to completely roast it. But man, this shit is an off color. It' not dry either, a little on the wet side even. Could it just be reeeaaallll old? I'll post some pics as soon I can get some good ones with my webcam, which probably means waiting for a bit of natural sunlight to come in through a window.
Get outta here, shwag's never decent... It really does seem as the small nugs and few buds I got are really overwhelmed or maybe even made of the hair matter itself. They're all very short hairs though, a kind of thin fuzz that just gives the whole bud surface this color (same on the inside). I never imagined I'd be smoking weed that's so "brown" and visually unappealing and still be throughly satisfied with it.
That sounds exactly like some shit I recently had that my dealer all of a sudden got a long time supply of sadly, not anywhere as good as the normal dank I get But it's alright. Its really hairy, brownish but still green, not really gold like you said just a light brown with dark green. Its moist and sort of smells like hay. If you use a grinder to break it up you end up with a lot more pot. I don't think it was fully cured weed if even at all. That might be what's up with yours.
Dam, threads like this make me sooo glad I grow my own, and live in here in Oregon.. If more people had good cannabis genetics, and a little willpower, its easy to have enough dank personal stash for all..
