Do you guys ever get the feeling while watching some film or show or listening to some music that it is so suited to your acid trip that its hard to concieve that the artist did not have LSD in mind?
Well when it comes to lyrics, usually they are written in a manner where technically they could be applied to many things, it's just a matter of perspective and what you have in mind, or what you get from the lyrics. Unless you mean something else. But, as for TV shows, yeah, usually some seem so bizarre and wacked out I wonder if the producers are doing psychedelics themselves. Mostly kid shows. Sometimes old cartoons. Whatever gives the vibe I guess. Peace
yes all the time. I usually just conclude that the artist or writer was thinking in terms of life issues, and since an acid trip to me is similar to a compressed lifetime it naturally reminds me of an acid trip. but I def. think that acid and other psych. trips have influenced much more of our world than we realize
but im talking about while youre in the acid trip.. watching this stuff.. for example Monty-python show ... This stuff makes my brain explode.. then when i see it sober I realise there was an overtone I was missing which made certain things make sense in other ways.. but these overtones seemed almost there just to appease the majority of the world .. who are not tripping. a lot of it is due to the way the characters will sometimes switch between communicating literally or figuratively, sometimes within the same sentance. When on acid, Its like i bounce between all these communication flicks instead of them flicking around me.
but yeh .. did the pythons trip? or is it total coincidence that their stuff is so trip-friendly? Does anyone know?
Google reveals nothing about monty python and tripping so I can't help you there, but the stuff is pretty funny so I could only imagine it to be very trip friendly if you can hold the focus.
psychedelic media is stimulating media. you'd be surprised at how much subliminal mind control everyone is exposed to everywhere in America it's sickening.
man, whenever i listen to dark side of the moon it seems so obvious that pink floyd made it specially for people tripping
that reminds me, the only time i dropped someone decided to put on 'who framed roger rabbit' on a projector. you can imagine the confusion i was in.
