Had some fun with those back in the days (that makes me sound old.. hehe). It was a adult chatroom collection.. lots of different places (m/f, ff, mm, s&m etc). Can't remember the name.. if you're looking for that kind of places you could go to large ones like #sex on IRC etc.. bound to find some likeminded people there. It kinda depends what you're looking for. Discussing sex or cybersex.. there's a huge difference
n00b Bots are computergenerated mods basically, that censor the conversations. For example, when the word 'fuck' or '****' isn't allowed, they will send you a warning and/or kick/ban you. Same goes for flooding (too much text in little time), spamming (giving out too many URL's) and stuff.. Bots don't have t be a bad thing.. they keep the channels safe in case of netsplits and takeovers. Hm.. maybe this doesn't make too much sense due to all the IRC related terms.. but you get the point. Bots are AI mods, that are programmed by their owners.. Bot owners are like gods on the channels
True, chatroom language filtering and all that is done by script. But chatroom bots are something different. "Bot" refers to an automated chatroom "client" scripted to log in and post (pre-written garbage) in chat rooms. Bots are designed to appear as if it were a real person sitting at the keyboard typing out and sending each message. Some bots are created by users and will simply post the same annoying thing over and over (ad nauseum) but many bots post automated promotion/link spam for other websites. Bot = automated chatroom poster (no actual human is there typing in the room). ~7
True.. that's also called a bot.. but in my IRC times (and I think it still is the same) 'bots' were the 'keepers of the channel' so to say.. the AI ops basically.
