I just tried this for the first time today. It's pretty tasty! 1 Whole fryer chicken A rub of your choice (I used a mesquite rub...you can use pretty much any rub) Olive Oil 2 24 ounce cans of beer (I used Miller Lite.) Salt and Pepper Half Cup Worcestershire sauce Rub the chicken inside and out with the olive oil and rub. Salt and pepper to taste. Open one beer and sit the chicken over it. (Yes...you're basically sodomizing a dead chicken carcass with a full beer can) Open the other beer and pour out 1 cup of the beer. Mix it with the half cup of worcestershire sauce. (This will be used to baste the chicken) Drink the rest of the beer while you fire up the grill. Sit the chicken on the heated grill (can down) and close the cover. The beer can keeps the chicken up off the grill and steams the chicken with beer as it grills. Baste with the beer/worcestershire sauce every 10 or 15 minutes. Grill until meat thermometer reads 175-180 degrees. Remove the chicken from the grill and remove the can. Let the chicken sit for 5 or 10 minutes before carving.
I just tasted it at a relative's house on the weekend...Very good and moist. I'm going to have to try it. This is the best part
