My husband and I are new to Hip Forums. I am a student, studying Veterinary Science, and he is retired. We do not know a lot of people like us in our area. We live in the California Delta area, and visit the Bay Area often. We have not met any people like us in these areas, and we cannot help but wonder if the Hippie way of life is dwindling. Is Haight-Ashbury still a "cool" place?
Hello there guys & Welcome to the forums. Glad you found us. Can't say much about the Calif. scene, I'm way out there in the woods of WV. I would say with the war and all that there would most likely be a resurgence of the Hippie lifestyle. Check out the state by state thread and hopefully someone will enlighten you on that area. The haight is a nasty place....filled with wing nuts and bad drugs. Lots of feds too. Smells like shit. Not a cool place at all. Welcome to hip forums. I believe anyone who does not make it to the next level gets recycled, so I guess you could say I believe in reincarnation . .
