You read like a person who would probably vote for him. How do you feel about labour offering the idea for a return to council (social) housing?

 

Council housing is far cheaper to rent out than the private housing. There are many in need of social housing. I think we are seeing far too many private companies taking over the council housing. WHat happens, more and more desperate people. A nation of depressed people is like a worm writhering in turps. And with the influx of more people, we need to house them too.

John MCCain or Obama? I think it would be Obama. It is time for change. Seems like a vital crossroads for America and right now, Americans need the right Commander in chief for their country. Bush administration has been terrible.

 

the HUD program we have here is a train wreck. i worked for a property management company that provided HUD housing. not only did the renters treat the places like litter boxes, but the HUD agents wouldn't pay for repairs or damages OR THE RENT if the house became uninhabitable. as such, a lot of rentals are taken off the market for HUD.

 

meh, britain is tied to america.. and vice versa.. because the moment the pound gives up the ghost and we join the euro the dollar is fucked...

we have had a "nice" sixty or so yrs of sucking each other's dicks and pretending we get along.. and getting filthy rich in the process..... dunno how much longer it'll last tho'

 

it'll be fun learning a new currency. personally, i think ours will be the yuan or whatever they use...
