Dear people. It is better to forgive than to nurture hatred to those who had done wrong to you. The other day someone who hustled me six yesrs ago had the audacity to say hello to me with an ignorant smile. I denied him my attention. Then i turned around and felt anger. I walked away. Now I want to forgive him but i cant. Anger leads to darkness and hatred eats you away until you are like your enemy.'

Forgiveness is so hard. But why?

    Perhaps because of the ego?
The sense that one is in the right and the other party wrong, which often overlooks our own shortcomings.

forgiveness is very hard for me also..I harbor these feelings for certain individuals and cant seem to get it cleared from me. Jesus did say to forgive your brother up to 77 times.

Why do either? Isn't not really giving a shit what other people do preferable to either?

Call me a ****, but I get offended when people tell me that they forgive me for my gayness or whatever, because as far as I can see, it's just a really passive-aggressive way of pointing out someone's flaws; which would be bad enough if they actually were flaws. Great, some guy forgives me for something I do. Great. Who gives a shit if I did it because I really wanted to and enjoyed every minute of it, because HE forgives me!

We are all born with rucksacks attached to our backs when we enter this world.

We throw all the rocks we are attached to into that pack.

Time will make us reconsider how long we wish to endure the strain of having many rocks. Even the most dense eventually come to see the value of traveling lite in life.

    Reaction to violence

When one throws fire on you if you throw fire against him in return, can your fire extinguish the opposite fire? The fire thrown by you cannot pacify the injuries caused by your enemy’s fire on your body. The injuries caused by your fire on the body of your enemy will increase the strength of your enmity with him. If you throw water against his fire, your water can extinguish the opposite fire. The water fallen on your enemy generates repentance in your enemy and the enmity ends forever. A scholar shows love as an answer to violence. An ignorant person shows anger as an answer to anger.
