Who had a good labor day weekend?

me too. =(((

and that sucks... labor day weekend seems it should be chill n pleasant with a lack of drama.

 

Boys suck. I've never had a nice labor day weekend.

 

yeah i was thinking about this yesterday... i have many bad, fighting labor day weekend memories. it's weird. all i want is to have a nice, mellow one for once. :confusion:

 

It's same with my birthday, I rarely have good birthdays.

 

I wasnt kidnapped.....but I was on an island...we have family reunion day every labour day weekend.....and the hosts live on an island

 

I had a great weekend. Got two days to myself, without any kiddos around. Then had a cookout yesterday that pretty much ended when the fire department came and told us to to put our fire out.

 

i was up til 3AM! with a sick kid.

my weekend sucked ass.

 

I am so happy that Labor Day has come and gone. I live at the beach, so Labor Day is the last hurrah for all the tourists. It's like, us locals can come out of hibernation now. And what makes it even better, this is THE best time of year to be where I'm at.

Every summer it feels like it gets worse and worse, tourist wise. Put it to you this way, I live on a beach that is 7 miles long and app. 1/2 mile wide. Not very big. But everyone wants to come here. (We are not the only beach in the area). So, everyone gets drunk and speeds (this beach is also a neighborhood...people seem to forget that) and just a couple of weekends ago, 3 people died in less than 24 hours because of speeding, drinking, and just sheer stupidity. Sorry for the rant, but Im glad summer's gone.

 

I had a great weekend. I went to a festival in Independence MO (twice). It's called SantaCaligon Days and is located where the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon trails split in the 1800s. Heart was playing Friday night and sounding great. There were acres of crafts and food vendors and a carnival. Then, I had a cook out and went to another one last night. The next thing I knew, it was this morning.

 

My weekend was fine. Nothing great happened and nothing horrible happened. It was kind of boring actually.

oh i know the feeling..used to live at the beach and tourists are the worst. now i just go to a state park and chill on the beach for a couple weeks but i always wait til sept. cause um..tourists are still annoying. i like to just relax there so yeah.. cant wait for two more weeks.

 

yea, was part of the game we were playing. it was one of the things i had to do. i tried getting the girl next to me naked, but she didn't pick the cards that would have got her naked...bummer
