Seinfeld as a standup comedian is not very funny. However, the Seinfeld show, thanks to Larry David, is extremely funny.

i lost pretty much all respect for him after the first time i saw that clip. his show is funny, but i don't think i've ever seen him do stand up other than what is actually on the show, so i don't know enough about that to form an opinion.

sarah silverman is hot but her comedy can be hit or miss.

dane cook is a worthless hack.

    Steve Martin is a bore.

    And so is Jim Carrie.

But Robin Williams, I'll add to my list. [IMG]

    Prax,

I agree Seinfeld on his own is not all that funny.

But do you feel that way about the sitcom? I think the sitcom was pure comedic genius, thanks to Larry David.

    You gotta understand.

I don't like comedic social commentary.

I like observational, absurdist, and deprecational styles. [IMG]

    P.S. Also, anti-humor; e.g., Gregg Turkington.
