So it has come to my attention that a lot of people who want to start a small community, or a commune. I suggest we start this thread to meet up with people in our region, i.e. South,Midwest,blah,blah,blah. I really want to start one of these in the West somewhere, maybe close to California. its my dream to live out in the wilderness. Im thinking about taking more courses on it. It would be better to go with somebody to live in the wild. Let me know what you think.

i would probly go a little crazy if i had nobody to talk with.i want to live in the woods to get away from ignorant people, not all people.plus i love nature, its beautiful and makes me inspired. so starting a commune would be awesome! that would be so awesome if this takes off and you could help out. im not making any kind of definite plans, but it would be great if it did.i want to maybe try and find a commune that already exists if possible seeing as i have no land or money to start one myself.
just put on a backpack with warm stuff in it and leave. gather what you need and go into the woods. bring a sling-shot, or some fishing supplies. I spent almost the whole summer on the road just camping out wherever the hell I wanted. It was beautiful, and not as hard as I thought it would be. I think living in babylon is harder.
Thats awesome you must of had a great experience. Ive thought about doing the same thing many a time myself. Why did you come back if you dont mind me asking?
thats really cool, yea ive got almost everything i could need and more to just go camping in the woods while on the road...but ive got my van so this also helps with where ill sleep if its too late to find a good camping area.
