Hey all, I've been lurking for 2-3 days now and decided I had to join this site. I very rarely come across any psychedelics- short of ordering Salvia, which I enjoyed, but sometimes I really prefer something more social- but a friend of a friend managed to get ahold of some shrooms, so I told him i'd take all he had, it's $50 worth. They described it to me as being really 'compact' so that they make a sheet, similar to acid, its 5 'tabs' I'm getting.. someone I talked to said they took 2 and had a really good time, her friends took 1 and still thoroughly enjoyed it.. the friend of a friend has a reputation of being kinda shady, and he'd have no problem lying/exaggerating, think 5 people could really trip off something like that? Also, I've been reading up more and more on Cacti, and I've decided I'm also going to definitely order some of them-- I'm looking to do this in a social, outdoor setting, there will be 3-5 of us, is San Pedro or P.Torch perfered in this instance? I've read on here somewhere you guys all prefer BBB to buy that type of stuff, I was curious how much/what type would be good to buy... I'm also thinking maybe take the Cacti with shrooms? is that too much or not enjoyable? I've read that growing the cacti is very easy, but I read that growing shrooms are too and two years ago I tried that only to have it contaminated If they are easy to grow, should I buy I large cut, eat some and plant the rest? Wow- that is a huge post.. didn't realize I had so much to say, I'm just excited, it's been over a year since I tripped last with shrooms, never get a chance to do this, especially with my good friends that are coming up for the occasion. Also, lol, anyone heard of Sunshine Daydreams (on Jerry Garcia's bday) or Hippyfest? Amazing amazing amazing stuff, unfortunately its the only time I ever come across anything- hence the reason I'm also buying cacti now.
I have a question. I've never done shrooms before. Will the ones btbotanicals.com sell get you fucked up?
I can't find that site... I'm not sure where you are from either but they are most likely illegal wherever you are- i'd be very wary.
'Compact Shrooms' in sheet/tab form?!?! Sounds like crazy talk to me. No way can you compact the active chemicals of mushrooms unto a sheet of anything. 3.5 grams of cubensis mushrooms ground up into powder comes out to a pretty decent pile of powder - no way can you fit it on a sheet, and that's just one dose! As far as Cacti go, either Pedro or Torch or Bridgesii doesn't matter. I prefer Bridgesii myself, as they are said to be quite potent and I've found that to be largely true when compared to regular Pedro. I wouldn't do the BBB route - fucking hella overpriced. As your attorney, I suggest you check e-bay for better selection and prices. Overall I recommend cactus over mushrooms. Cacti are legal and the trip is superior to mushrooms in every respect. The only downside is that cacti don't grow nearly as fast as shrooms do.
Your FOAF is taking you for a ride. You don't press mushrooms, and you don't extract the psilocybin to put it on blotter. Don't trust him for anything. He might poison you. Psilocybin and mescaline together are fantastic. One of the best mixes ever. They both have their individual merits, though. A shroom trip is shorter and feels thinner, but more confusing. Uncontrolable thought combinations can come at you from nowhere. On the other hand, a mescaline trip is friendly, thick, and dreamy and lasts ALL DAY LONG.
im not sure what the deal was with those shrooms, i didn't end up getting them, but another acquaintance got 2 doses and did them both- said it was a low-to-mild trip.. i think some of the information may have been miscommunicated through the chain- anyway, i jumped on ebay and got a variety pack of cacti, all 3 types, 1 foot of each, $30 whats the typical amount you guys usually take for a pretty decent trip, and whats the preferred method of 'taking' the cactus? i can't wait!!!
Amanitas suck in my opinion. If you spend some time reading, you might be able to grow some actual shrooms yourself.
Cacti potency/quality can vary hugely not just between species but between differing plants of the same species and also between clones of the same plant! And if you 'want to get fucked up' why do you not just drink a bottle of vodka? Entheogens need treating with respect, I think you need to consider you intent more Bushpig
i dont know why everyone likes bbb so much. their prices arent the best, and they sell fucking t. cuzcoensis as peruvian torch instead of t. peruvianus. nice people, but there are much better vendors of fresh and dried cacti out there.
Sooo.... had my first experience this weekend- 3 12" San Pedro cuttings, although they were closer to 14" We despined the cacti and began peeling the outter most layer of clear skin off the cactus. Wow does that suck, we peeled probably 75-80% off them and said fuck the rest it was taking forever. After I removed the cores, chopped everything else up and put it in the freezer for a couple hours, then I took it out and started crushing the cactus to strain the juices out, someone had the better idea of blending it so we threw everything in the blender at that point. BIG MISTAKE. The top layer was like a foamy texture absolutely brutal, at the bottom a liquid that tasted absolutely foul- I ended up adding a packet of pink lemonade mix, some lime juice, a lemon, and lots of sugar- it tasted slightly less bad. Well we split that 3 ways, I was the only one able to down their entire mix- it probably took somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 hours to finish everything (about 40 fluid ounces)- and by 4 hours from the start of ingestion we went for a walk in the dark. It felt mainly like my depth perception and sense of size was messed up, lots of little things too, mainly because of it being dark and very easy for our eyes to play tricks, looking like there is a pond at the bottom of a hill, then finding its only some dark plants when we walk down the hill. After that we all walked back to my house and one of our trio went to the neighbors to drink, he later told me he didn't feel anything and from the cactus but i suspect that is because he was in a more social setting and drinking (is that right?). My girlfriend and I felt the effects more and more at this point- I wanted to adventure VERY much at this point and tried to talk her into letting me drive to the arboretum which did not work- so we ate a little and laughed a lot while watching tv, eventually we walked down to the pool and laid down looking up at the stars, we laughed histarically for a very long time at this point, tears running down the face- after that stopped i focused more on the sky and we talked about all the stars planets and everything out there.. I also started to get my first 'visuals' at this point, they weren't terribly distinct but i could see lines sort of connect the dots from time to time if i looked but didn't 'look' if you know what i mean, it was actually kind of annoying i wanted to see what it was but it was so faint and easy to lose, i saw an octopus, a thing i would call an aztec design sort of similar to godsmack's symbol among other things- I think I definitely need up my dose on my next adventure, I want to find another way of ingesting it too so I can take more all at once, 2+ hrs to take my share probably helped detract from the trip- also going to stay outside more of the time, exploring was very fun- I'm looking at getting some dried cactus this time- 900g for $90 US, but the shipping says a delay of 20-40 days unless you pay like 20 extra for shipping so I'm not super crazy about that-- it's also Peruvian Torch this time instead of San Pedro like I took. how much more visuals can i look forward too? does anyone enjoy just using the powder rather than fresh? how much powder would equal out to what you would call a powerful experience? edit: I know it seems like posting/asking for vendors is usually frowned upon here, and it seems like most of the good ones are very hard to find; the 900g for $90 took FOREVER to find, actually someone linked to it in another forum- so if someone could tell me here or PM me where to get either a)the most potent stuff or b)the cheapest stuff I would be very greatful-- also is it the consensus that P.Torch is stronger than San Pedro?
