    beads should work great!^^
i used beads to make one of mine as well.
if they're growing together pretty well, just don't separate em,
but jah, beads work and look cool too^^

yeah cool, but do i have to get the bead all the way to the roots ya think? i cant quite get it to the root the beads are holding 2 and 3 lil ones together, i think if i want a congo in the back it would do fine on its own but my dreads in the front have a bad attitude.

use a ring instead of bead
ir wrap the base in wool thread

if the bead wont go tho its ok as long as they remain near eachother they will grab eachother
congods like dreads take nothin but patience
they just take a few months of forgetting to prevent them
    just oike dreads
