We blow the smoke in the cats' general direction, over their heads so that if they don't want it, they don't have to have it. What they do after that is completely up to them. They stick their noses up and inhale, btw. It's not hard to get a cat stoned by their own choice.

Exactly. We don't hold ours down and force it on them, we leave them plenty of options to leave, to stay, whatever.

 

now the cat we used to stick in the bucket and blow smoke in on, well, that was just plain torture.
