iv had dreads for a year now and i have a load of loose hair...about 2 months ago i stopped maintaining them. Now i just keep them clean and play with them all the time but i dont really know what to do with all the loose hair...wondering if anyone could give me some advice
nothing leave it loose hairs will become new dreads sooner or lkater or be eatten buy other dreads how did u "mainyain" them b4 what are u doing now the only maintanance dreads need is seperating to prevent massive congos if u dont want a unidread oh and washing thats all
if you don't like the loose hairs, you can always use a crochet hook and thread them back into the nearest dread. I've got heaps of loose hairs. I just leave em be. In over 2 years of this, there aren't any 'baby dreads' like everyone says. It just depends on you and your hair type.
18 years in i still get baby dreads all the time dont use a crochet hook bad idea that involves thrusting a needle through the dread the needle is 50 yimes thicker then the thicest hair you pusth the needle through it breaks hundreds of hairs maybe thousands so every 1 looser hair u pull throiugh you create tons of broken loose ends to work theyre way out again i will say this..only you notice the loose hairs.., your l;oooking at your dreads toop closely from an inch away every loose hair stands out and your too hypercriticle nobody else notices dreads will always have loose hairs only african hair curls so tightly they dont stick out and become compleyely engulphed anyt other har type will have loose hairs so what its no big dea;ll ignore em

ahhh well crochetting ..i do not revcomend every 1 hair u pul in you break hundresds more that may find theyre way out..and over time u just perforate the dreads.. whgen u havcve perfotrated paper whats te purpose of the perforations to create a weakspot to tear along more easily.. perftayerd dreads have weak spots all over the place and ocourse eery single roken hair then has 2 loose ends to p oyut requiring a new hole to pull em back in..creatting more broken hairs... its not a good ideaand it would be a never ending priossess of doing dammage better off ignoring thr few loose hairs
