Get them back! Don't conform! Seriously, get retainers and stuff instead of completely taking them out, you can get retainers for 14-12g holes i believe and they have skin toned plugs for larger piercings!.
i need to get a retainer for my lip. im about to get a job and need to take out my piercings. luckily my septum wont close so i dont need to worry about it.
Last school year I was constantly being told to take my nose stud out. This year i accidentally managed to knock the gem off of one of my nose studs and low and behold I have a very small, flat to my nose stud which barely notices Not veen asked about it once.
Yeah, its sucks when you have to take out piercings/cover tattoos for a lame reason. But, don't feel too bad about it. Look at it as taking out the piercing, not for the job, but for all the opportunities and fun that will be had from the money earned at said job. Life is about balancing wants, needs, and restrictions. Sometimes, the best way to get most of the things you want is to give up something else you care about. Anyway, just a different perspective that might(or might not lol) make you feel better about the situation. But, yeah, places that make you take out piercings for no good reason are super stupid.
