I know some of you guys around here are familiar with pills and hopefully TNS can help me. I just picked up a few pills labeled R56 on one side and an empirical 3 on the other. I know these are 30/300 generic codeine pills. Normally I end up getting 5mg Hydrocodone but this is what my guy had this time. I usually take about 30 or 40 mg's of hydrocodone but I want to know if codeine uses about the same dosage level.
No it's definitely not the same dosage level. It's much higher with codeine. I'm not sure of the dosage really, because codeine has never done anything for me, but give me a minute and I'll find some info, hopefully.
absolutely not. in my opinion codeine is about the weakest opiate that still has worthwhile recreational potential. I'd suggest a cold water extraction and taking at least 200 mg's.

Although the euphoria is not as intense as that experienced with the stronger opiates, the euphoria can still be quite intense. It also must be noted that like most other drugs, some experience is required before the full effects can be noticed and enjoyed. The best dose to start at is the 30mg - 60mg dosage. That way you won't experience many adverse effects and you can continue to take this small amount until you feel the desired effects, after that you can increase the dosage as you please. Most people settle around the 250mg mark for the best euphoria, with the least side effects. The best idea is to take in a situation where you won't become distracted. You can get yourself into a comfortable position and relax because you will become _quite_ relaxed. It may take 5 to 20 times before you can appreciate the effects. At least 120mg's to equal the effects of 20-30mg's hydrocodone. Around 200 would be appropriate and more worthwhile provided you have neither a tolerance nor an over sensitivity to opiates.
100mg of codeine will converted to 10 mgs morphine..And the body can only convert 400mg of codeine at the one time, so taking more then 400mg is a waste? me myself i take 400mg every time i take it, anyway i like codeine
Not to be an ass but it mite be OTC but it's not pure, a cold water extraction is not going to get it pure enough for a high dose you will have things like acetaminophen interfering with the effects, at the end of the day the best codeine can do is a 40mg dose of morphine coz thats how it works by converting it to morphine
