I'm not scared, nor am I pissed off or paranoid. I just put that there in the end in case you weren't in the mood to take a joke when you read it. This is your forum, you run it the way you want to. That's fine with me. I do think you're sending a mixed message though, with this being a free speech forum and yet still trying to "give those darned conservatives a taste of their own medicine." I guess me still being here after all those arguments we've been in and all the opposition I've shown here means I can't be all that bad.

I certainly hope you don't group me with those flaming conservatives who come here, make a few posts about the glory of Citizen Bush, bitches at everyone and leaves. I'm not pro Bush or conservative by a long stretch, but I guess being in a forum full of liberals makes me seem that way.

Midnightmoonlight, the Abu Gharib stuff has been over the news for months now. Many of the soldiers in Iraq don't even believe in the mission, but they chose to do what they are obligated to, because they feel even if the mission is wrong, they owe it to the nation to 'soldier' on with the task given to them. Sure there are a few twisted mother fuckers who should have never been given power, and deserve to be treated like they treated the people under their watch, but most are now busy securing the infrastucture, building wells, schools, restoring power, and securing the country despite an opposition which they never expected. Whatever you think of the Iraq war, you shouldn't blame the soldiers who are looking out for you.

Well I think I asked Skip for some gas money once and he just laughed and said piss off... That'd make him a piece of shit if it really happened I beleive. But it didn't so off I go to ponder why he's a piece of shit... Hmmm

The only other thing I'm gonna say about this here is I agree that everyone is responsible for the choices they make. But even if the mission is wrong, the outcome can be worthwhile, and thats why the soldiers are still there, the soldiers are securing the nation, building roads, hospitals, and schools. Its not a black and white issue, its complicated. But even if you feel that your engaged in a campaign that isn't worthwhile, but you go to secure the nation anyway, thats admirable.

As for Skip being a piece of shit, I don't like that he disabled rep for himself just cause hes the webmaster. What... you scared of us ganging up on ya skip?! :X

I think Skip will ban any pro war right winger. I'm so far from the right but i do enjoy there input. Nothing wrong with a healthy debate as long it not turn into name callings and put downs. I miss alot of people that been banned, but i will not give names because in doing so i might be banned.
