hi! lately i have been wondering a lot about this issua, and id like some of you folks to give me your opinion, even if it means saying the subject is stupid. here it goes: everywhere i go, (portugal where i live, macau, china, hong kong, spain, and england, those are the only ones ive been there observing) as well as the media, porn websites, etc. etc., i allways get the idea, that if a girl kisses/pllays around with her friend, shes sexy, and wild, eventough she might consider herself straight, and only loves boys, yet, if a guy kisses another guy in the locker room or something like that, comments like "faggot" "maricon" and such start coming from everywhere, and even if it was just an experiment, most likely he will be remembered as the gay guy, or with homosexual inclinations... Why in todays society, a boy having fun with another boy is terrible, while the same with 2 girls, is an advantage? ofc, all of this, in a common, mostly straight environment (but even in brighton, one of europes major gay centers, unless your on st. james road, think thats the name, you wont be looked with good eyes)... and let me introduce myself, im a guy, 18 years old, who considers himself straight, yet likes lesbian stuff, A LOT, and i have to admit, mostly because of the influences of this world. thanks a lot, sorry if this is pure stupidity or something, thats the idea i have, and others opinion are allways good. cheers
I honestly think it has alot to do with alot of people being homophobes.. Society teaches us that girls are soft and playful and cute - and so when a girl kisses another girl (or whatever else) most people don't make a big deal of it.. She's just playing around/just experimenting/putting on a show... whatever.. But, we're taught to think of men as strong, masculine & serious.. So when we see men kissing each other - we don't think of it as cute, because men aren't supposed to be 'cute'. They're supposed to be serious. So we take it seriously and assume that he's gay, or bi.. ANNND - you have to admit, something about women together is just SUPER SEXY... they way they're all soft and graceful and perfect?.. How can anyone hate on that?! I think it's kinda hot when guys are giving each other bj's... but that might just be me.. Another thing to consider: People generally 'accept' the lipstick lesbians.. not so much the dikes.. so it's not like the men are the only one's being discriminated against..
