i cant stand raves personsaly that horrible noise they call music makes myt hesd pound and want to explode
ive only tortured myself at 1 and found the scene incredibly annoying
but ofcourse the massive headache from that noise didnt help my attitude
    never again

    no offence..just not my scene...
id rather travel 1/2 way riound the world for a gathering thenm ever step foot inside a rave next door...

People have been raving since the beginning of time, so it's pretty important to me.

hahaha what????????????? electronic noidse never existed that far back
maybe if your 12 or something the beginning of time to you was not so long ago but raves are very much a new thing, 12-15 years if that much
i doubt they been around that long
they became popular only when extracy started being severely abused..its the only way ya can stand that noise
but i really think the 1st raveswerte maybe in the mid to late 90's
    1st i heard about wasmaybe 96 or 98

Raves are no diffenent than the sacred ceremonies that the shaman's used to initiate with psychoactive drugs.

Times only change as much as you think they do, life is universal.

    Definitely depends on the "rave"

    I prefer psytrance gatherings....

people are a little more mature than candy kids...who are annoying as fuck, definitely

Yeah I agree. the atmosphere at a shamanistic psychoactive gathering is deffinitely extremely different to that of a rave... I agree with you soaring eagle... the whole thing gets on my nerves.

I'm sure there's better gathering than raves, but I sure do seem to love them. Mostly because they love me there.

i like them because they just trip me the fuck out.you will see some of the craziest things in your life at one of these, but you can also do the same at a gathering. it just depends what kinds of music you`re open to.its not for everyone, sometimes not even for me...it can get repeditive some times.but i still enjoy listening to it, its just another way for people to express themselves.

I thought that I was completley insane, then I went to a rave and found out it wasn't true.
