okay. so i got my nose pierced about two & a half years ago. recently i began changing it every couple weeks, and i had NO problem. no pain - no nothin'. then on friday night, it got caught on something and came out. i totally forgot about it for a couple hours, then i attempted to put it back in. i thought .. okay, this is nothing. it'll just go right in. - NO. it would not go all the way thru. i fucked with it for so long that my nostril got swollen and really sore. so i let it go for a day, and it happened again the next day. it's been three days now. it's not swollen, it's really sore, and it looks like it's closing up. do you really think it would close in a matter of days - after two and a half years??

well....ive had mine for 3 years....and if mine falls out overnight it starts to close.

sucks right? try a sterile needle or go to a piercing/tattoo studio. I'm sure they can put it back in for you.

nose, lips, tongue... all are part of the mucous membranes, and they heal (and close up) rediculously fast. when i took out my labret after having it for several months, it closed up overnight to the point where i couldn't even see hardly ANYTHING of where it used to be. nutty stuff.

glad you got it back in! :)
