I want to move to Amsterdam...

...next year. I have a few questions for someone familiar with Amsterdam.
Is there a community college or something similar in the area?
Is it expensive to live there?
How do I become eligible to work?
What's the drinking age?
Can anyone be involved in the cannabis scene or is there an age on that too, if so, what is it?
What is the music scene like?
