I have a couple friends who compare Obama to the coming of a religious spirit who will invoke an apocalyptic race war. The proof they gave me doesn't have any basis in fact. They rely mostly on quote mining, personal opinion, vague quotes from the Bible, etc. One even told me that she read Snopes and it confirmed that Obama's wife is a Black militant when Snopes actually dismissed that claim.

One thing that is interesting about Obama is that his run for office has revealed underlying irrational fears that some of my friends have about race and religion that I otherwise would have never known about.

He wasn't saying that he's a Muslim. He was just pointing out the absurdity of all that controversy around the question.

 

I don't think it's absurd to think that he could be a muslim, nor do I think it absurd that mccain could be a satanist... or vice versa, it's politics, they want to win, they're going to try their best to show what the people want to see, they all have something hidden in their closets that they don't want others to know or else they would look like regular human beings and the voting citizens of this country wouldn't want to elect them
