Anyone else a fan? I apparently have a male sense of humour because I love it, My favourite cahracters are Neil and Vivien, though Rick's probably the funniest...

I've been playing catchup on UK TV since I've been here, and this is one of my faves. I think the only other series that I laughed more at was "I'm Alan Partridge"

I love the Young Ones. Unlike Mayall's character in Bottom, which is shallow and contemptible, Rick is probably the deepest most almost likeable character in the Young Ones with such a perfect level of satire that he's almost an archetype....

I used to love the Young Ones when it first came out. Clearly a major influence on Withnail & I.

I used to love The Young Ones (Yes, Im am just about old enough to remember it first time round)... Although I could never really understand what Alexis Sayles role was... He just seemed to be a wannabe just tagging on in every episode.

Although I really enjoy all of Mayall/edmundson comedies.... Bottom,Young ones,Guest House Paridiso, Comic Strip, Filthy Rich and Catflap and The Dangerous Brothers.

What a programme! I love Nigel Planer's characer (he's so different in Filthy Rich and Catflap!); Neil runs the show for me. The whole cast just bounce off each other though it's a giggle fest.

Never really liked Filthy Rich and Catflap that much, it was funny in places, but never up to the standard of The Young Ones....
