I want to get a tattoo but I do theatre so I can't have it anywhere obvious... I also don't personally like obvious tattoos.... where is the most discreet place to put it (please no where dirty) I was thinking behind my ear.... I just want a tattoo b/c it's a symbol to me.... not to show it off to the world
I would suggest on the back or side of your ankle, because even if you're in theatre its a lower not often looked at area, chances are your shoes will cover it, or if you're in bare feet, a little cover up will make it dissapear. It's where I plan to get mine.
Yeah, feet/ankle region is good. Anywhere that you normally wear clothes is good. Behind the ear is a little obvious as you rarely cover it, but its not like having it on your hands or face. So, its really up to you and a little stage makeup will cover it no problem.
Ask people at your theatre. I don't know that many people at my theatre with tatoos and most of them are techs so no help for ya there.
behind your ear sounds perfect i doesnt hurt too bad, i have 1 behind my ear and i fell asleep while they did it.
you could try your shoulder blades, hips, or ribs. i always think those places are adorable spots for tattoos.
The ankle hurts.. and is very obvious. i think behind the ear is very sexy and very discreet also on the inside of the wrist if it is small and at the top of the thigh

First, design a tat that will fit inside a circle the size of a Kennedy half dollar. (about 1 1/8") Shave an inch and a half circle on the back of your head. It can be covered with a hat, a fall, or hair. Enjoy .....
