My parents tell me I'll have it all my life (maybe because it's true). All the doctors I've went to have suggested me different kinds of creams but they all do the same thing: cure the eczema for some days/months and then the shit comes back again. In winter, it's gets worse until summer. Usually from september to november, I'm all right but after it's hell. It's annoying and disgusting, isn't there a cure for this??! Does anyone know a cure or something? I heard somewhere that crocodile oil cures this easily.
i don't know if this is a cure but it might help.. try getting some GA cream heres an email address to contact Amanda.Stewart@newcastle.edu.au amanda is based in australia tell them your problem with your skin and they might be able to help you. a family member swears by this stuff. i have used to get rid of chemical dermatitus (it happened recently again when i was exposed to transformer oil). ask them about GA cream.
go to an acupuncturist and also looking into lymph system drainage, holistic practitioners can help greatly with eczema. Eczema is a chronic inflammation, and a sluggish Lymph system. Sometimes folks have the classic triad of Asthma, Eczema & Allergies, starting from early childhood. Sometimes food sensitivities are the culprit, or a combination of factor like, environment and toxin build up... Holistic Practitioners know all about it.
could be diet related. my 5 year old gets it horribly bad if she eats any dairy. i read dairy and eggs are the top two food causes of it. i also know soaps and sand can make it flare up or worse. when she does have an outbreak start i put MSM cream on her and it help almost instantly. you can also take MSM internally, (pills and powders) that might help from the inside out. seriously good luck i hope you find some relief.
My son (almost 3) has it on his cheeks and hands horribly during the winter, to the point where he is bleeding several times a week. Now that it has been warm recently, I havent seen any more than a slight reddish colour to his cheeks, but no cracking or bleeding whatsover, he looks a million times better. I had it as a kid until about 2 years ago, all over my hands and feet. Now I just get it to the point of bleeding a few times on my palms during Winter. My mom had it as a kid, it went away for most of her life, and now she cant even light a cig during the colder months because she gets cut so easily
This is the kind of cream I use on my son when it's not terribly messy, when it gets bad the doctor gives him a special cream but I forget what its called.
Eczema is very much treatable in Ayurveda. I am a Vaidya, and glad to extend my support. From Cochin, India. www.jamesvaidyanhealing.com
Tell your doctor you'd like to try a prescription for Triamcinolone cream. I get eczema on my hands once and a while. A reaction to my leather bicycle gloves and exposure to lots of chlorine when I was younger. This cream works well for me. I think it's on the $4 prescription list at Walmart these days, otherwise, it used to be about $30 a small tube. x
don't you worry dear, i had it behind my ears for more than 10 years in my childhood, and with time it will surely go and will never come again! i also went to several doctors but nothing came out of it, but only money! so just keep it cool, because its a natural thing and at a certain time it will surely go away! take care
I make good old fashioned oat baths for when my youngest son has eczema flare ups (my oldest son used to get them quite a bit when he was younger, but has seemed to outgrow them at this point, and my daughter fortunately has never had a problem with it). I just take some rolled oats, grind them into a fine powder in my blender, put it in a clean sock, tie it up, and plop it in the warm bath tub under the running water. Then they soak in it. It's helped them better than any of the prescription creams that the doctors gave them!
I use tea tree oil, it will burn but it works. after a while I'll put on some almond oil and voila. for me eczema is very much stress-related. I have this one finger that is my stress-alert finger, when it gets eczema I know pressure is getting too high!!
