Has anybody checked out this show on ABC called "Lost?" It's about a plane wreck, and the 48 people who originally survived the wreck...I have seen the first three episodes, and have come away so impressed with the show. The director has saturated that show with this lingering sense of dread and unease that is so disturbing and unnerving. And then other moments illustrate humanity at it's greatest...And then there are all the "grays" in between...What an incredible show... I love the characters...From the Iraqi "Good Guy" (this is good for the US to see, I think) to the Noble Doctor to the complicated Fugitive, to the hilarious Hurley, to the stodgy Japanese husband, to the sublime visionary who finds Dogs and withstands torrential rainstorms...What an excellent show, with intriguing, interesting characters... There is much to chew on, after just these three episodes... Anybody else see it yet? It's wonderful, so far...
I've been watching it, and I really like it. It is definitely one of the best new shows. It's actually original. That's something that is too rare these days. I kind of hope that they don't really show what's on the island, because I'm afraid it will come off as looking cheesy.
yah this show is pretty good. i hope it doesnt' get cancelled unless the plot begins to fade and gets too typical and predictable
In case no body noticed, lost comes to us from the same people that bring us Alias. I find it as intriguing as Alias and as suspenseful. Do you think they are in a bermuda triangle of sorts because of the 16 year old transmission? I love the complexity and how they don't give you everything in a stream lined fashion. I almost missed an episode and was screaming out "Damn you Tivo", I don't have it yet, they don't seem to sell items around here that are too complicated the farmers might not know how to turn the darn thing on!!!!
