I speak english and I think in english. I think in my native language. If I was one of the first people alive and didn't have a language, would I even know what I was thinking?
You also think in instincts, impulses, sensations, and memories you think in many ways beyond your ego and sections of the psyche that babble all the time. so think without words see what you can think
Thought manifests itself in more ways than just words. Flashes of light, static (like the shit you see on old tvs) and hodgpodges of colors, visual images such as silent dreams. But even still, this does not answer your question. Bear with me here... I mentioned the aforementioned manifestations of thought to say that even without words, these nuggets of cognition can still be understood and processed intuitively. The zohar speaks about the upper realm, Binah, and the lower realm, Malchut. And as man, the malchut, it basically says that we're endowed with about 6-8 forms of cognition, one of which, chochmah, enables man to pull meaning from what's referred to as the "superconsciousness." You feel me? And this is just the power of the mind alone, without words. I mean, thas jus my opinion, m'brudda.
Yo, Stalk, I'm here to learn a lesson. Share your wisdom, m'brudda, either in a new thread or wherever you wish. Peace.
I do, all the time Oh don't forget the thoughts that manifest as visions............... You can ask me questions, or just keep listening
Word up... You can type all day, my main man. I'm parkin' myself in this thread and hittin' refresh every 3 minutes and 33 seconds, you feel me? Peace...
The first people were not programmed with language....or all the other crap this society programs into you. They listened to the spirits...that's where all this intelligence came from in the first place. Altered states of consciousness. They had a clean slate on their mind they knew only the truth... For all of us who were programmed into society thankfully there is metaprogramming
My ex you to always ask "Whats on your mind, what are you thinking?" Then she'd be mad cuase I wouldnt/couldn't answer. My thoughts are never in words, they're much more than that, My thoughts too seem to have a will of thier own and crate splended things, colors sounds, deep emotions. I wasn't always like that, just one day the world seemed more complex and there was more depth to everything. Long story short.. I could never explain whats going on in my mind, becuase simply, sometimes I have no fuckin' idea.
i just finish reading A New Earth by eckhart tolle, and he mentions this sort of thing. basically we think of the word for a thing before we think of what it IS that? thats a chair. but the chair itself is wood wrought in pleasing and functional form. but it isn't the word. its hard to explain, you should read that book.
