Thinking about trying these again...

I've had shrooms only twice in the past, liberty caps and cubensis. As of late I have been toying with the idea of trying them again, however my primary problem with this is location. I have the weekends off so time isn't really a problem, but I live in a room upstairs at my relatives house and he's an older fella who's home all day. I only have one good friend in the town I live in, and I don't know whether he would approve of me taking shrooms and if he would be willing to watch over me whilst I trip. I don't really know if I could trust some of my other acquaintances with something like this.

There are some remote places I could drive to, but I'm concerned with being alone and away from familiar surroundings. Any advice regarding this matter?

 

I would not trip any place that could make you nervous or uncomfortable it is just asking for a bad trip.
Don't get me wrong, a trip in nature can be a beautiful thing though. But you say you have some concerns about it. If it was me I would just wait until you have your hosue to yourself for the day or ask a friend. When I lived at home and wanted to shroom I asked to use my friends apartment and he said sure "if you can get some more and we make a nice tea" They may surpise you.

 

so you dont have any friends that approve of shrooms? that sucks. what you could do is wait till your family members downstairs go to sleep and then start tripping, but if you dont like that idea you could just rent a hotel room and bring some headphones and yeah. but just ask your friend if hes okay with it, nature would definietly be the best place to trip

 

Finding a safe place is a big thing for me on acid. Safe however also needs to include comfort. You would be perfectly safe and alone in heaps of strange rooms around crappy places in random buildings.. but it might be a shit place to be. You would be very safe just hanging out in a place with lots of people like your city's public park. that would probably be rather comfortable, being in the nature, but all the people might not be comfortable on your mind. If you have money you could book into a hotel or motel and that would be a great option if it is a good place. But that is what money is for.

 

i can't believe how many people suggest hotel rooms. for one, that increases the cost of a trip from like $20 to like $120 (depending on where you live). for another, why would you want to trip in that environment. new, unfamiliar place, someone else owns it and can kick you out at any time (worst case scenario), probably in the middle of the city if you need to get out and also probably nowhere close to anything helpful if things go bad.

personally, i'd rather just be at home, relatives there or not.

 

yes being at home is best. but if youre not going to be at home.. then your options change completely. that is the point of this thread, jaytee, considering places other than a place that you own/will not be kicked out of.

lol as for unfamiliar places.. on acid, i find everything is both familiar and unfamiliar, because things are familiar but they remind me/associate with different things than they would normally. in my experience, there is no value in familiarity other than in the safety.

as for hotel.. well yeh its expensive but once again that is what money is for someitmes. i dunno if you have stayed in many hotels or motels, but i find it is very safe and in fact one of the best places for tripping because you dont have to worry about messing things up or anything like that

though ive never gone out and got a room just for a trip, because i would prefer to be at friends place or my own home. but these arent nominated options in this case

 

I tripped in a public park but it's not alot of fun alot of people will look at you and stuff... If you get paranoid from weed I won't advice going to a public place
