i just spent a lovely 2.5 hours at the hospital with my cousin after carting her drunk ass over there... we went out and she decided to get drunk off hot 100 and coke (its like an alcoholic cinnamon heart in liquid form, so yummy, but not shit you wanna get drunk off of, maybe tipsy at the most) she reacted pretty fuckin badly to it too. i called her hubby (who was out of town) and somehow he managed to get back to stoon (i dont know how, he didnt take a car out there but went out with some friends)... he doesnt have keys to their house and hers are at my place (we take minimal shit to the bar with us) so i told him where our spare key was so he can just come into our house and get her stuff when theyre ready to leave the hospital... poor girl she was just shaking like mad on the hospital bed for a long time too, and they gave her the max dose of gravol that they could so she has to wait til like 530am to have any more gravol (anti nausea medication thats freakin awesome, quiets thte tummy and knocks you out for a while) but she was looking a lot better for the last half hour before i left or so. getting out of the parkade was a fuckin whore though, set up so stupidly and it sucks that you have ot pay for emergency parking too i hope she feels better soon i was going to drag her out for brunch in the morning originally but since she got sick... im gonna call her on monday if she hasnt contacted me to make sure shes ok, an dlet her sleep all of sunday
I think a lot of us have been in some drunken states and embarrased ourselves at one time or another. As long as it's not all the time, she should'nt worry about it and just chalk it up to experience.
her and he rhubby would make cute babies besides, this was an incredibly rare thing.. shes reacted to too much booze like once before and never this bad either. i think they came by my house around 6am to pick stuff up... didnt hear em but her shit is gone and her hubby left a thanks text on my phone shortly before six. ill call later and see how theyre doin (im thinking sleep will be something they want for the next many hours)
errrr, yea, 100 proof liquor is silly....even 80 proof is a bit nuts. i'll stick to my 6-10 proof beer.
theres been a few times i probably should have gone to the hospital...but i would have killed my friends as soon as i became sober if they ever did that
ohhhhh Hot 100, I still have nightmares from that....it's so nasty, you know something is horrible when it tastes better coming up than going down.
