Nose Rings

Do you guys think rings or studs are better looking? I like both but I can't decide. I'll post pics of me wearing both if you all can't decide either. haha

 

I really don't like the look of nose rings, though some people can pull them off I suppose. Studs, on the other hand, are lovely.

 

I personally like both, my preference goes towards rings though.

 

ooh nyny i love your hair, that's cool how you put the beads and string in it.

i like the stones which is why i normally wear studs but i also like the rings.

 

I prefer the smallest stud I can find. Anything bigger, and I snag it on everything!

It depends what look you're going for. I wear a nose ring but I also like studs. Smaller studs are less noticeble whereas rings, for me, are very relaxed and boho. Love that. Do it your own way.

i know, i like the look of the rings. maybe ill switch to the ring for a while.

 

I prefer rings. But I have one of both- yay for best of both worlds...

 

I use the studs..nose screws with a teeny tiny colored stone..It's one of the few things about me that is understated..lol..Question about the ring tho..do you use a segments ring?? I asked a girl who works with my son and she said she just uses a small hoop earring..Not sure if I want to get some cheap crappy metal in my nose..

 

i have had a stud in for a while for work and school, and it's been a lot more matinence. I loved my ring, but a lot of people told me i looked stupid with it. so, i'm sorry, i'm really not of much use.

 

i always wear a ring. like hippyshake said, it's all very boho. which is fun. i think it suits me better. i have a teeny tiny one so it fits all nice and close. i don't use a segments ring, it just has one little place where the wire meets, and you bend it sideways to slip it in, and then bend it back. it's really simple, and i love it. it's stainless too, so it's ok for my sensitive skin.

 

where did you find yours, naked?

i have a screw right now, but i'd love to go back to a ring... if it was like the one you described...

 

I use a sleeper, had no issues with it and the only time it fell out in 6 weeks was when I caught it on soemone's jumper when I was hugging them!

 

there are actual nose piercing rings but sometimes theyre hard to find. the one i use is not actually a CBR (captive bead ring) or a segment one. imagine a nail, but in a ring. theres a flat head on the part that is inside my nose and the rest is open and curved into my nostril. its a new design. it never falls out though.

Like a hoop earring only smaller.

I never could get those nail rings in!

 

is it a specific body piercing ring?

it was hard at first because you have to put it on from the inside, like backwards for the "nail head" to be on the inside.

It just would not go through the back of the hole!

The one I use is like a baby earring, I put the thin bit into the hole and curl the rest up my nose.
