Ive been using Dr Bronners shampoo for about 2 months now and its awesome! but for some reason after washing and scrubbing my scalp it leaves it kinda greasy feeling after it dries. Does anybody have any ideas why or how to fix this?

What sort of bonners are ya using?
The liquid should be very diluted. Some say 12 parts water 1 parts bonners.(corrected :) )
I dilute way more then that, and it still lathers up.
Try using the tea tree oil bonners. That seems to cut oils best.

I do this. I put a lid full of shampoo in a cup of water then pour it on my head. I use three kinds, peppermint, tea tree and lavender. They all do it. I heard some one say put baking soda in the shampoo? What would this do?

that was backwards sue 1 part bronners 12 parts water 12 times as much water as bronners
it can be the water itself
theres 2 kinds hard and sift hard water eventualy clogs or rots popes but soft water makes rincing sopoooo hard
if its soft try using sa buckeyt dump gallons over your head at a time instead of a weak spray
u can try diluting exta amount
making soda foams and gets out gunk
id try equal amounts db b and baking sodsa see how that helps

    You use bonners liquid strait?
No matter what your doing with bonners liquid, it should always be diluted.

My suggestion is to stop using bronners. That's why I stopped (and I diluted it just fine). Bronners simply doesn't work for all hair types.

    gaiabee's right :)

Try a different shampoo, you can always go back afterwards. Dr Bronners doesn't hold the monopoly on dreads.

theres one called jason Natural Biotin Shampoo and it's natural and certified organic and doesnt have Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates. but it's aimed for dry/itchy type scalp. i just bought it at the healthfood store, i only used itonce but it seems ok so far. i didn't see an of their products for greasy hair or scalp, but you could google organic no residue shampoo greasy hair
