Has anyone here ever tripped with their pets around? whenever i trip with my dogs around i get the feeling they can sense some sort of change in me. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
nope, it's not. it's in theirs, too. and their nervous system, and yours, and the space that surrounds you, between you.
yeah it's not just you man. I've been in a higher state of awareness around my dog before, and that guy was so excited I thought he was going to explode, jumping around and barking.
My friend ryan seriously and honestly thinks that touching his dog when he's tripping transfers hallucinations over to it. I just laugh at him because all that's happening is when he touches his dog, i can tell that his dogs like, wtf man?
i pet my dog on shrooms once, and that was really intense personally. his hair swirls and stuff and feels really alien. but he (the dog) has acted stragely when i have been on salvia before. If i am stoned, the dog typically doesnt care, possibly even avoiding me. however, when i was lying on the carpet tripping off salvia, he came over and stood above my head looking down, which is strange. I then had a wierd sansation that he was trying to swap our minds somehow, which was trippy. but if i lie on the floor any other day, hell just ignore me. it was wierd
Any time an animal or pet is around it influences my trip positively, even bugs and bats. In evolutionary terms our ancient ancestors had a consciousness similar to animals, involving less ego barriers and more universal wholeness (uroboros). An evolved creature includes its former evolutionary states embedded subconsciously and for us that comes out when we trip and it's closer to the plane of consciousness in which animals' minds exist. Animals can even sense weather changes before we do. I think a diminished ego is very much known by the animals. They usually see us as self-blinded and enjoy the fact that we can see ourselves in them while tripping, etc.
my aunt owns a horse farm and let me tell you there is nothing better than feeling at one with everything on a good trip and hangin out with horses. they are so gentle and loving wen im tripping.
i have actually seen a dog tripping on 2cb before too. we left a dose in a baggie on my friends table and the dog ate it! wel that dog was so much fun that night he was jus as confused as we were on that stuff. pupils all black really quite freaky. it tended to bring out his primal instincts more and scared us for a spell wen he jus started growling out of nowhere.
^ poor dog. It cant be that good for it. Well, as long is it had fun i guess. Its probably a little cooked now though. I know a guy who used to grow his own mushrooms and literally had stacks of them lying around. His dog once ate a bunch, went mad, jumped into the pool and drowned. Animals, on drugs? bad idea.
I love hanging out with animals whilst tripping... the first time I did acid, I got lost for awhile (walking around town) and this stray cat we named Smoke followed me for about an hour. It felt like we were on an epic adventure together. I miss that cat....
I took some lsd at the beach once, by myself but with people all along the beach, and this guy was walking his dog down by the shore. The dog noticed me and came all the way up to where i was and sat for a minute or so, letting me pet him, until his owner had to call at him to come back. I could tell that he felt the good energy and i felt his, it a pretty special feeling
