His contribution to music as a founding member of floyd was huge. He will be sorely missed!

i've been depressed all day since i heard this. im only listening to pink floyd tonight in his memory (currenty on us and them)

he was always my favorite band member, whenever asked which floyd member I would hang out with I always said rick. :(

Shine on Rick, shine on, he was the only person who could come to Syd in the innocence in his songs. I can't believe how bad a decent day just got
