Hello Everyone - Pacific NW - Wandering

Just wanted to say hello to everyone, this being my first thread on the site. Currently living in Va, just moved from being in the Pac. NW, the San Juan Islands for the last 5-6 years. Coming back to this area has definetly confirmed my love for the people I met out on the west coast and their way of life. Mu ultimate dream is to have a chunk of property where I can live off the grid. Unfortunately I am unable to accomplish that at this time. I am tired of society telling me I have to work to pay for these material goods and do things that I do not want to. I wanna use alternative construction methods and build my own dwelling, grow my own food, fish hunt, etc.. My soul is that of a traveler and always have the urge to travel to new places and experience new things, the good and the bad. Wanted to chat with fellow open minded people and share ideas and experiences. I'm interested in communal living, preferably somewhere from Washington to Northern California. I have a few friends that either live in these tribes or were raised that way. Anybody that would like to share knowledge, ideas, just wanna talk, hit me up.
