COLEUS?any1 experienced?

ive been thinking about trying coleus but im not sure wich plant species 2 use..ive seen different types of it but dont know wich is psycoactive,could any1 experienced help me out? can i have some discriptions? colors of it mostley..

ive tried it and ate 50 leafs.... feel like a buzz.... i hate it! but im not sure its the right kind though ..
ive tried 4 different kinds...

I have an experience report somewhere on these forums. I did it last year and got pretty good results - Good body stone, head high, and some occasional trippy visual effects.

I rolled 4 or 5 individual quids with 1 or 2 leaves each and would suck on one for a few minutes, spit it out, and put the next one in. Have lots of water handy.

Times were dry so my friend and i decided to buy the plant, $3 . We knew that the leaves would only be good for a few hours since they were seperate from the plant, so we quickly went home and washed all the leaves (just in case they used insect repellant or anything on it).
We each made a ball of about 10 leaves and proceeded to chew while swallowing the juices, a few minutes later all that was left was mush, so we spit it out and waited. We put on half-baked and waited. A minute later there was a connection, we both knew that we were feeling something, but at this point we didn't know what, so my friend goes "dude, im so tingly right now, my nose is hilarious", and then i felt my hands loosening up. This was a great feeling because i often have pain in my hands (i dont know why, its just always there, some sort of achy, painful tightness), and i just felt all of it getting sucked out until my hands were weightless.We weren't trippin at all (people claimed it was similar to mild doses of mushrooms, which i have yet to try), but i wasn't expecting to trip, so that was fine with me. He decided to have another 5 leaves or so.
Then we started paying attention to the movie... As Dave Chapelle's face was zoomed-in on it really, authentically looked like he wasn't IN the tv, he was floating in front of it and the tv was just the background, this was funny. Then i got some really bad dry mouth, the only negative effect this whole experience, so i proceeded to drink 3 big bottles of water, which only kept my mouth wet for a little bit, the dry mouth lasted for a few days afterward. By this point (about 10 minutes later) we were both feeling ridiculously high, we were floating, just like they did in the movie. Then i looked at the wall, which was a big piece of gray foam with several ridges and bumps (it was soundproofing foam because hes a drummer). The shadows of the light were just right and all i saw was a HUGE checker/chessboard. As i stared even longer the shadows waned from grey, darker and darker until they were black. Now, im not one to be a total dumbass (usually), so this is where any thoughts of this being placebo goes down the drain. I get up from my seat and say "woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo w", and my friend says "what the hell are you doing", and i proceed to tell him that his wall is a portal into the 4th dimension, and the black holes were all openings to it, so he started laughing, but i was being completely serious, then i tried to prove it by sticking my finger into the 4th dimension by poking through the hole and it just stopped. BAM. I jabbed my finger right into the wall and went "FUUUUUUCK", thats when i realized it was no longer a portal, just another wall......
This write-up is getting pretty long so i guess ill just wrap it up. The rest of the experience was great, we were really high with some other good effects. There were no CEVs or major hallucinations, but it was really fun for $3. The next day we wanted to continue the saga but the remaining 40 leaves were brown and soggy because they werent attatched to the plant. I am sure this wasn't placebo because i said "snap out of it this is bullshit" (and i was serious) several times, and the feeling of the pain relief in my hands has NEVER been felt in that way/so good before. There was also a lot of other things i left out. All-in-all i'd say major effects lasted about 1 1/2 - 2 hours for us, with the peak being from the 30 minute mark to the one hour mark. The next day i woke up with a very dry mouth (especially my throat, not cottonmouth, just a dry throat) which turned into a cold that lasted about 4 or 5 days. This wasn't nice at all but i dont know if the coleus caused it, because my friend was fine, he even had 5 more leaves than me.

that experience sounds realy cool i realy wana try coleus out..could i just use any type of coleus? or does it have 2 b coleus blumei?

blumei only i believe. But i am very skeptical of its effectiveness. For such a common plant, there are almost no reports on its use.

I have coleus (unknown variety) in my backyard, and i recently tried chewing half of a leaf to see what it was like. obviously nothing happened/could have happened at that small amount, but the taste was horrendous and i spat it out.

dont bother in my opinon. get some morning glory seeds

thanx that was all i needed to know,ive seen the red green and pink one by a friend but the idiot wants me to buy it from him,im probably going to buy it just for the experience...and i wont forget to post the experience aswell
