Good thread. Thanks to the OP. But please don't post links to sites that sell stuff, until you've been around a little longer. It sets off a SPAM alarm. Again, I liked your post and hope you stick around. :)

This is the pic I selected for my mushroom ID book I am putting together. The book is going to be super small so it fits easily in your back pocket like a wallet. =) Man I love mushrooms.

Lost if you ever wanted to put a catalog of what cultures you have, I would be very interested in purchasing some for my own collection. I have agar, flowhood and all that, but it would be great to get some samples from elsewhere in the country. Not many people have a clue how to go about sampling mushroom strains.

No probs man. I checked your product list to be sure there werent any paying spore vending advertisers first, so I figured I wouldnt be stepping on anyones toes if I posted that, but I stand corrected. Sacred spores actually tried to buy an advertising banner for the hipforums, and was turned down by your staff. I felt bad and was trying to throw them some business anyways, but I have no problem earning that right.

Thanks for being so chill about it though, most forum mods would have just come in swinging.

Thanks again for running such an awesome community!

I love all of the info. I would like to see a tek for your edibles. I have a BS in Biology and took a Mycology course and loved it! I'm still friends with the professor. He wrote a recommendation for me for grad school. I have been considering the idea of utilizing my ~1500 sq ft. of basement for growing organic edible mushrooms(shitake, chanterelle, etc). Do you think that it would be profitible enough to make it worth it? I like in Atlanta, which has plenty of farmer's markets, whole foods, etc. to sell them to.

You really bumped your own year-old thread to advertise? What a douche.
