it's a long exposure (hence the blur) she totally closed her eyes during it

or she used photoshop to merge two layers and make one less opaque.

 

i dunno...only if i could film his reaction, and unfortunately it's only me here tonight, i can't put a spider on his face while holding a camera at the same time, it wouldn't look very good from a cinematic point of view
