I'm ok today coz it's payday....by the time i've paid the rent and whatnot tomorrow i'll be almost skint.

But as Mitten Kitten said i'm warm and well fed, and as there's people worse of than me, i can't complain.

if you need help taking care of some of that money you wont be able to spend, i can think of a good use for it :D

anyway, i am flat broke at the moment but in an hour and a half i will be rich again! temporarily, anyway. my bills wont pay themselves, for some reason. pesky little things.

I'm absolutely broke at the moment. I don't mind being poor but I hate being broke. :) Luckily, the garden is providing our food and we still have a bag of tobacco, so the necessities are covered I suppose. It'll all work out though, I'd rather be happy than rich any day. :peace:

I have no savings, a very bad income at the moment and I am broke as hell. But I in no way consider myself poor.

you need to train them better.

i don't have much of an income at the moment, but i own lots of things and i have a pretty good savings. by legal standards, i'm lower middle class, but i also don't like to throw away all my money as soon as i get it like most people i know, so i'm doing perfectly fine right now.

Ah, yea I have never heard that one before.

But since I have no use for your husband and kid, I am afraid you are going to have to make your own wealth.

It is incredibly easy once you realize that money is not real. It is a total illusion.

Money is a means of funding your spiritual growth.

It is an energy exchange. Real simple.

Find your bliss and the money will come.:)

Well that is correct. But is it any harder than struggling all your life to barley make ends meet?

Figuring out what brings you joy can be hard. But the alternative is a bitch.

I used to think life was a non stop continuing struggle. Now I know it is meant to be a gentle progression from one adventure to another.

People forget that I lived on the streets for 4 years. Nothing was handed to me.

If I can rise above my limitations, so can anyone who is willing.:)

Tomorrow is my birthday, too. If anyone wants to send me gifts or money, PM me and I'll give you my mailing address. LOLOL

I think we are doing okay, but I constantly worry about finances. You never know when something catastrophic will happen and wipe you out.
We have two businesses and a home, and all of our money is wrapped up there.

Even with my very oldest friends and family , I don't talk about how much money.
I tend to buy what I want , sometimes that means splashing money .Other times , I just want to live the same way as people without much.
The only time its an issue with me and others , is in business situations.

Rich and poor are stimes relative in a way.To some Africans , all Westerners are rich.
Then there's a multimillionaire who might feel "poor" alongside friends who own football clubs etc.

Money and resources is a strange thing. My friend complained about the electricty money his treadmill used.I said , why dont u wire a bike up to generate electric?
I think we should control money , not let it control us- rich or poor.
As UA said , its like a form of energy.

At the moment, I have no income because I'm a full-time student. I've got some savings but most of them will be gone come Monday when I have to pay my tuition fee. It's alright though, I have no debts as I've paid for uni myself so no student loans, and my fiance earns enough so we don't have to worry.

No wait, actually I lied.. I do get student allowance from the Finnish government just like everyone else who happens to be Finnish and a full-time student. :D It's not a huge amount but it's still nice and you never have to pay it back.

i was actually surprised no one had said it yet! haha! and dont worry about them, they are hard workers! i kid, but seriously i dont care about money all like that. i have what i need and if not i have people that help me out. large amounts of money scare me, actually. i would be scared that i would blow it all on stupid shit, or my friends would only like me for my money or something. because i'm poor i know people like me for me and not my casshhh floww. :D

When I got accepted with social security they gave me back pay money. But I don't consider my self-rich. Just lucky I don’t have to work.

We make really good money, especially my husband. I really never knew how much he made until I saw his bank statement last week.
However, I like to spend more than I bring in so despite him paying most of the bills I am still always broke and am always asking him for money or a credit card.
Today I had to pay a ticket and the whole process was stressful. It was def a wake up call. I need to be more financially reponsible. I am seriously draging Andy down. He would never say that to me, but today I realized I am not adding to his life at all that way. I really need to work on being more helpful and less selfish. I am sure he would rather have a fat down payment on a house rather than paying my defaulted student loans and always bailing me out.
