Busted at school

I did the stupidest thing i have ever done today. I sold this kid at school some bud, apparently someone saw me slip the baggy into his jacket and ratted him out. The guy I sold to then told them i sold it to him and i got called into the office and searched, but i didnt have anything on me. Then 2 cops show up and search me again. He asked if my fingerprints would show on the bag of pot they found on the other kid. I said no and he fingerprinted me. Im suspended for 5 days and i am getting transferred to a differant school for the rest of this year.

Does anyone know if they actually have a legal case against me, since i wasnt caught with anything on me?

And you obviously didn't know you can just tell the cops no, I let you search me why do you need fingerprints? That's that. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS.

EDIT: I don't honestly know if having your fingerprints on a bag of weed is enough evidence to get you a court date.

The guy who turned me and my buyer in will get paid. My school pays kids to turn in people involved in illegal things. Bullshit i know.

And the stupid thing is, if im correct the guy who i sold to will have the same punishment as he would if he kept his mouth shut.

I hate cops. I stayed silent most of the time, but they would ask my shit like "did you call the person in the other room" trying to make me admit i knew him, luckily i never slipped up. Also the bastards tooks my 65 dollars and are "impounding" it
