new england diesel

yo i got this dank bud and my dealer called it new england diesel... he said it was from mass, anyone ever heard of it? i trust the dude cause hes mad chill but im wondering if its a legit strain

I've never heard of new england diesel, but sour diesel originated in massachusetts, so odds are it was actually sour diesel. Not to mention that there is always a bunch of sour d going around mass...

And your right, (if you really have sour d) it is dank weed...

 

Just for a little Mass. pride you should know that all the real diesel strains origanaly came from here, and the real thing is still abundant in these parts. You should also know that the Diesel was taken out west and renamed o.g.kush so in a way the kush strains owe their birth to Mass. as well.

 

"original" Kush originates from the Hindu Kush region in India. Most commercial kush is good weed that dealer's call kush to get you to spend an extra buck.

 

Yeah that's sort of right... og kush and sour diesel are not the same cut, though...theyre both part of the chemdog family, and chem is from MA... OG kush is a suspected s1 of chem and sourdiesel came from a chemdog that hermi'd and spewed pollen all over a mass. super skunk... which is why it has the same crazy bulbous calyx structure as the MSS... I think that resulting cross may have been crossed to something else to get the SD aswell... that's how I understand it anyway...

Now everyone in cali wants/wanted a cut of OG, so they find selfed bagseeds and call is the same thing "og kush"... which is why there is such a clusterfuck of kush cuts out there... Youre right...cali takes too much credit, us new englanders got the bombest! :cheers2:

And bro, and real deal cali kushes are worth the extra buck... theyre a bitch to grow and are low yielders... but the smoke is top notch, Id take it over real kush any day of the week... truely awesome herb...

yo thanks guys.. and it was really dank so im thinkin it is a legit strain... the reason i was wonderin is cause it was 50 an eighth and usual prices here are around 30-40 an eighth, depending on quality. and also thanks for the info about diesel comin from mass.. did not know that... thank you all.
